We are the sole owner of the information collected on this website. We will never sell, share or rent this information to others. S&T Moore Ltd collects information from our users at multiple points on our website.
When a user places an order, we request personal information in the checkout of the shopping cart. Contact details such as name, address, email etc. are requested. If there is a problem with processing the order we will use this information to contact the customer. Credit card transactions are processed a third party payment gateway system (PayPal).
We will store a persistent cookie so that you may retrieve the products in your shopping cart with no need to go through re-choosing all of them again. However, the cookie will eventually expire if there is no activity in your cart, e.g. view, add to, delete, etc., for a number of days. This website’s cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information. We also use a cookie for analytical purposes so we can improve our services and user experience.
We use third party shipping companies, e.g. Royal Mail, to ship orders, and a third party credit card payment processing system to bill users for goods.
If a user wants to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for the user’s email address. The user can unsubscribe from this at any time by accessing their account and deselecting the newsletter check box.
This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number/ contact details), that information is encrypted and is protected with 128 bit encryption software over an SSL connection. While on a secure page, such as our checkout forms, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, or at the top of other Web browsers such as Google Chrome is displayed as locked.
